Mission Statement

At The Crusader newspaper, we pride ourselves in being the most reliable and dependable news source at Lansdale Catholic. Our news is always true and unbiased, and we claim no political affiliation. We wish to be a source of pride and unity for the Lansdale Catholic community.

We promise to...

Bring you the news in an up to date fashion on a monthly schedule. No matter what the media, it will be only the best.

To promote values for life through a reliable news source which conducts itself in the model of Christ by acting with integrity and honesty in all that we publish.

To include all people and to keep an open mind towards all opinions; whether they be writers, readers, or just observers.

By encouraging others to act in a Christian model, while still speaking their mind and having their voices heard.

History

Founded in 2010, as a combination of the defunct school newspaper, literary magazine and photography club, the Crusader Online School Newspaper combines all three of the organizations to help bring Lansdale Catholic News into the 21st Century.

Co-founders Dan Maloney and Pat Coulter created the site, and with the help of Moderator, Miss Burgoon, were able to launch it to the school community, creating a lasting and viable source for news and creative writing that will last into the future.
