Congrats to our Reporter of the Year, Casey O'Connor. Casey received this award due to her devotion to the Cause and the large number of newspaper stories that she submitted.

Miss Polk, Chair of the Business Department, organized the annual Career Fair. During the career fair, local representatives of many career paths took time to field questions about their respective jobs.

The week began with a bang when the celebrated magician, John Cassidy, did his act for the whole school. Needless to say, it was an entertaining and enjoyable rest for class.

As usual, Catholic Schools Week concluded with the annual Student-Faculty Olympics. As per usual, students and teachers competed in volleyball, basketball and dodgeball. The teachers put up a rousing performance, besting the students in all events.

During the last week of January, Catholic Schools Week was celebrated by all the Catholic grade and high schools of the area. Catholic Schools Week marks a week full of school spirit. The theme of this year's celebration was "Raise the Standards," providing a call to action for all members of the Catholic education community including students, teachers, and parents.

One celebrated event was the first annual Senior Tile Decorating Day. During this event, a number of Senior students designed "Legacy Tiles" that will be displayed at the school forever.

On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day- a universal day of service across the nation, students chipped in and helped make breakfast bags for Aid for Friends.
